Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast, who was regarded as one of the sport's greatest athletes. Being an U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few who won four gold medals in a single Games at the 2016 Olympics. Biles is also the first to hold three consecutive world championships. Biles lived in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her younger sister Adria were adopted by their grandparents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started at the age of six when she took a trip with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman's guidance until the year 2011. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercise and a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite competition in 2011. A year later Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles distinguished herself by being consistent, having an exuberant and energetic personality and incorporating a high degree of difficult into all her events vaulting uneven bar floor exercises.
