LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. The nickname is King James he is widely thought to be one of the best athletes of all time. He is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James was awarded four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs, three All-Star MVPs along with 2 Olympic medals. James is the player with the most points during playoffs and has the second most career points and has the seventh most assists in his career. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was selected for an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times in a row between the years 2011-2018. In 2018 James was also chosen to be on The NBA 75th Anniversary team. James made his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became the very first NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School close to his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by the media. He was a prep-to pro and was selected as the highest choice by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. He was voted as the NBA player of the year for 2004. Soon he became one of the top players of the NBA and was awarded the NBA MVP Award twice in 2009 and 2010. James did not win an award in Cleveland and departed the city in 2010 as a "free agent" in the year 2010. The decision was announced by the television show The Decision.
