Zoe Saldana is an American actress and dancer who jumped to fame with her high-profile roles in blockbuster films including Pirates of the Caribbean. Star Trek Star Trek Into Darkness, Avatar and The Curse of the Black Pearl. Saldana's career began as a stage actor in a humble manner. She was a ballet dancer. Before starring as a lead in Center Stage, she performed many roles in FACES Theatre as well as New York Youth Theater Group.
