Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 in Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fiona Roberts is the fourth generation Roberts who reside in Atlanta. She inherited her father's interest in theater from a young stage. When he was a student in Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he received his induction into the Air Force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in the year 1957. Walter and his wife left their Air Force service in 1957, when they enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter began his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou began producing a children's television program in Georgia, Decatur called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production by themselves. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It ran for 6 years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
