Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor best famous for her character House in Fox's medical drama House. At the age of 18 years old, Lisa relocated from Wayne to New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to traditional Jewish traditions. But very soon, she became involved in the city's club scene, making enough splashes to get recognized by the media, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. She then used her background and fame and her own education to write and perform a show called Positive Me. Awake the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV was soon her assignment. Once Awake on the Wild Side stopped running, she started acting in films as well as on TV, starting with small role. As time went on, her work as an actor increased.
